The short version
Text you paste into our calculators is processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic, and — if and when advertising is enabled — Google AdSense to fund the site. Both are gated behind a consent banner where required by law.
Data we do not collect
- Calculator inputs: tokenization runs client-side via WebAssembly; your text never leaves your device.
- Accounts: the site has no login, no user database, and no forms that store personal data.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4): aggregate usage measurement — pages visited, approximate region, device class. IP addresses are processed per Google's GA4 policies. We use Google Consent Mode v2: analytics storage defaults to "denied" until you consent where consent is required.
- Advertising (Google AdSense, when enabled): Google and its certified vendors may use cookies to serve ads, including personalized ads where you have consented. Without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown. See Google's advertising policies and manage preferences at Ads Settings.
Your choices (EEA/UK and beyond)
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland see a consent banner from a Google-certified consent management platform before any non-essential cookies are set; you can accept, decline, or customize, and reopen the banner anytime via the "Privacy settings" link in the footer. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including opting out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined there — the consent banner and Google's ad settings provide those controls.
Children
This site is a developer-oriented reference, not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
